Kristal Sunnyside Farm was started in 1981 with nothing more than a dedication to return a little bit of Brewster to farmland and one Montadale ewe which was purchased at a yard sale and rescued “from the freezer.” Molly looked so natural on the land that within a year we purchased two registered Romney ewes and a ram and began a careful breeding program. Over the past decades, our flock has grown slowly. We have selectively introduced Lincoln and Corridale cross ewes to produce fine colored fleece, but our main effort has been to breed healthy, pure registered Romney sheep.

The Kristal Sunnyside flock now grazes peacefully on six rolling acres of South Brewster land as sheep did generations ago.
